The all-new STIGA patented hexagonal shape of the bat changes the established standards and has a (5% larger bat surface, 11% larger main hitting part, larger sweetspot, larger hitting area closer to the table surface and thus easier play at the net).

The Stiga PRO CARBON 5-STAR has a concave handle. The Star 5 bat cover is 2 millimetres thick and the wood consists of five layers + two layers of carbon fibre. It is certified by the International Table Tennis Federation ITTF and uses STIGA Touch CARBON technology. Touch Carbon technology reduces shocks and vibrations allowing for a smoother feel of the game. The carbon fibres increase rigidity and stability which results in a larger sweet spot. The bat provides maximum power while maintaining a high level of control.
