Description

Sporten IRIDIUM 5 + VSP 311

The Sporten IRIDIUM 5 W + VSP 311 are lightweight sandwich skis with sports ambitions. The skis features a lightweight core made from exotic wood, which works perfectly for a sports-level ride but are not limiting in terms of flex or weight. Just like other skis from the Performance line, the IRIDIUM also offers double radius for a confident, smooth turn transition. An interesting feature is the option to move the binding to use the double radius for short and medium turns.

  • double radius - small radius at the front for easy transition from long to short turn, larger radius ensures faster turn exit and perfect grip in longer turns
  • sold in a set with a Speedcom plate and bindings Vist VSP 311
  • protected sidewall - prevents top sheet from cracking
  • wooden core consists of many plates of premium wood to ensure its stability
  • STRUCTURED TOP SHEET - top sheet fulfils and aesthetic function and increases the ski’s resistance to getting scratched
  • premium SPORTEN ski
  • binding value - 11 DIN

WOODCORE

Wooden core WoodCore is made of many connected slats, which guarantees the stability of the core.

STRUCTURED TOP SHEET

Structured top sheet has aesthetic function and its structure improves durability against the scratching.

DOUBLE RADIUS

How to Choose the Right Skis

Level

  • Beginners – softer skis (composite core)
  • Advanced – harder skis (wood core, possible reinforcement – titanium, carbon)

Ski Length (from 5 cm to 15 cm shorter than skier’s height, depending on the skiing style and level)

  • Shorter skis – beginners – 15 cm shorter (easier to control, less stable in higher speed)
  • Longer skis - advanced – 5 cm shorter (more difficult to control, more stable in higher speeds)
