Inline skate wheels are an essential part of your sports gear. Choose wheels that match your type of skates. The most important factors are size and hardness. For standard skates, choose wheels up to 110mm in size. Larger wheels, intended for faster speeds, may not fit into the skate frame. Wheel hardness affects both speed and stability during skating. For beginners or intermediate skaters, a hardness rating up to 82A is ideal. All these inline wheels (42 types) are in stock on our online store or at the shop. How to choose inline wheels?
Selecting the right wheels for your inline skates significantly impacts your comfort, speed, and skating style. Our blog provides guidance on how to choose the ideal wheel size, hardness, and number of wheels based on your needs.
Wheel size – The size of the wheels affects the speed, stability, and maneuverability of inline skates. It is measured in millimeters, indicating the diameter. For regular fitness skates for adults, the size typically ranges from 74mm to 100mm.
Number of wheels – Most adult skates have 4 wheels. However, as previously mentioned, larger wheels provide faster speeds. If you want truly fast skates while maintaining good control, you might want to consider three-wheeled skates. Three-wheel models are also common for children's skates, but they typically have smaller wheel diameters.
Wheel hardness – The hardness of the wheels also influences your speed and comfort by affecting grip and shock absorption. Hardness is usually marked on a scale from 75A to 90A.
