The Wilson ULTRA 100 V4, head size 100 (645 cm2), 16x19 weave, is the most popular, most versatile and most powerful racquet in the Ultra line. It is designed for advanced and experienced players. Thanks to the new design and new geometry, this racket is different from all previous versions. The FORTYFIVE° technology is based on strategically placed carbon fibers in the frame for improved stability, force and feel. The key change is the new frame geometry, which noticeably increases the size of the Sweet Spot and improves performance. Some parts are made of “Agiplast” which is an eco-plastic. The revolutionary design combines beautiful, colour-changing blue tones with a matte finish for a captivating and unique look.
- Crush Zone technology is an innovative grommet system that compresses at impact, increasing power and ball time on the strings for a better feel and more power, leading to more powerful shots
- Parallel Drilling technology provides a significantly larger sweetspot, giving the player a greater degree of tolerance for inaccurate strokes
- Sweet Spot Channel is a cavity on the inside of the frame that lengthens the cross strings, increasing grommet movement for more power and strength
- FORTYFIVE technology incorporates a patent-protected carbon construction (special 45° carbon interlocking) that creates maximum flexibility and stability at impact for an uncompromising combination of power, control and feel
- use of Agiplast with bio-based components for the rim, grommets and part of the handle to reduce the negative impact on the environment
