Please, be aware that the sizing may differ from brand to brand. Usually, you should fit the size that you normally wear. It is always better to try the shoes on. Everyone has different feet and every shoe has a different design, therefore, it is very difficult to confidently say whether a size will fit you.

3. Surface

On what kind of surface do you want to run?

It is necessary to know on what kind of surface you will run most often and choose footwear that meet the requirements based on that information.

4. Use

What distances and types of training do you want to run in these shoes?

If you run longer distances, it is a good to choose more bulky models that provide better cushioning and are more gentle on your joints while the speed running requires more lightweight models with lower cushioning that do not absorb too much energy and will push your forward. The recreational models for occassional running may have lower cushioning and lower level of durability.

5. Tread

What type of pronation do you have?

The shape of your arch can be essential when choosing shoes. If you choose wrong shoes, you are ultimately risking a running injury. Thus, it is very important to find out what type of pronation you have.

6. Water resistance

You don't mind getting your fett wet or would you prefer keeping them dry?

You will appreciate the water resistant shoes in bleak weather but they will be quite hot on warmer days. Therefore, it is smart to really think through whether you will be really wearing them mostly on rainy days before a purchase.

Running Shoes

Wearing the right running shoe, a shoe that fits your foot properly, will prevent wear and tear on your joints through absorbing impact from the very surface that you're running over. Today's technology allows shoe manufacturers to tailor the design of their products while keeping those very running surfaces in mind.  Shoes are now made to carry you farther, longer. For example, a high impact road racing shoe is designed to be used on asphalt and paved surfaces while a hybrid high density shoe may be designed for activity on a variety of different surfaces from flat to multi-terrain. On the other hand, shoes designed specifically for the trail will have a thicker sole with an aggressive tread making this type of shoe suitable for outdoor activity off the beaten track. Our collection caters to all categories of runners from recreational to the professional athlete. Let us introduce you to our collection of footwear from leading brands adidas, Nike, Reebok, O´Neill, Salomon, NorthFinder, Alpine Pro, Hannah and Hi-Tec. We'll even hook you up with information on how to care for your new footwear by suggesting the proper shoe care product, also available from our e-shop.
