The Compressport ON/OFF BASE LAYER LS TOP M is a high-tech base layer with thermoregulation based on body-mapping. On/Off technology, which literally breathes with you, regulates ventilation and protection depending on the intensity of your movement during training. As the intensity increases, your chest expands to take in air. In doing so, the sealveins in the fabric open to reduce compression and in turn increase breathability. If your effort is reduced, for example when riding downhill, these alveoli will close to protect you and keep you warm. Smart body-mapping causes these perforations to vary depending on the size of the torso and lower body area. In less sensitive areas, such as the chest, the perforations are larger, while they are smaller in the neck and wrist areas.
