The new Armada LOCATOR 96 was designed in collaboration with a team of top mountain guides with exactly this goal in mind. No unnecessary frills and no ballast, just clean lines, technology and materials that really work. Weight is a major factor, so they have prepared a balanced diet for the Locator. Nothing drastic, pork is occasionally allowed, because anorexics don't weigh anything, but they don't bring much enjoyment during an aggressive ride through the Alaskan backwoods. Careful testing has resulted in a perfectly balanced ski that is nimble on the ascents and stable descents thanks to the Caruba Core and the EST Freeride Rocker. It has a shallower camber compared to the classic, so that the skis stays where they should and don't sink into the powder. Stability and easy manoeuvrability at high speeds is provided by the wide camber radius, which, when mixed with the all-carbon reinforcement and vibration-absorbing Titanal liner under the boot, will exceed all your expectations. You can be confident that the light but durable 1.7 Lightweight edges and the A75 Sidewalls will do the trick.
